DuPage Forest Preserve Native Plant Sale In-person sales only. Shop in person May 13 and 14 for native flowers, grasses, shrubs and trees at Mayslake Peabody Estate in Oak Brook. Please bring your own boxes for your plant purchases. There is a pre-sale on May 12 sponsored by the Friends of the Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, tickets are $15 with proceeds benefiting the Friends. Downers Grove Park District Native Plant Sale DG Park District is partnering with Possibility Place Nursery to offer native plants including herbaceous plants and trees, shrubs and woody vines. Order online and plants will be home delivered. 10% of each sale will be donated to the Downers Grove Park District’s Growing the Grove Tree Donation Program. The sale will feature organic herb and vegetable seedlings and native perennials and grasses, plus organic compost, rain barrels and honey. Order online and pickup in person in May. Admission requires a timed-entry ticket, which also allows access to the Arboretum. Tickets are good for a $10 voucher at the sale.
